"Need" is a strange word.

Let me know when you "need" a locker... I have one in the closet that I might sell you ...maybe ;)

Scott we need details on the 79' I'm sure we all know somone that will take that machine of of your hands. I have a friend that ask me everytime I see him to sell him mine. Another good place is the UL football games. I drove mine last year to a few games, if i needed the money I had some very good offers from some guys that looked like they had the money to pay.

hell we could always use a new one in our stable even have a nice indoor storage place for it. snug as a bug in a rug. i have admired the fine work and time you invested in this truck. let people in the club have a crack at it! unless she is spoken for. i could see it now with a nice oem pakistani soft top and and matching doors in od green like the red truck in this thread.

She was spoken for b/c Chip Jones wanted to buy it. I didn't want to sell it but didn't mind b/c it was Chip. He's bowed out (kid on the way) and I suppose I'll list it up here.

Hate to see it go. Probably time though.

"Can't love two women at the same time" ...Probably need to devote it to the Troopy.

How much? I have a little stash of money right now. Aussie?

And Corey, what's the story on the tires? I don't think I can use them, but you might find some luck here or on www.louisianasportsman.com in their free classifieds. Just a thought bud.

She doesn't know any better. When ever you want to get rid of the locker just say so. If your getting rid of stuff, i'll take the winch on the front of the 79' also. just trowing it out there.

I should change the title of the thread, "LETS MAKE A DEAL"

Good read if you were ever wondering what oil filters were better to use. I'm a Wix guy myself the build quality has always been top notch in their stuff. It was disappointing to see the Mobile 1 filters were made by Champion. I used them in my race car though they said it was a better grade of the Champion filters.

My favorite part of the article is where he's describing the Fram filters (the radioactive-orange cans)

i always liked the toyota filters or a japanese brand that produced them with all that asian writing on it. i think the last time i purchased a case of those was from jt outfitters. how could ya go wrong?!.......?! or a puralator when i had to use a US brand. the riot and i were turbo nerds about this at one time too, thoroughly investigating the situation. we had concluded that the larger toyota filter (looked like it could almost hold a quart we called it the tractor filters) was one of the best constructed filter ever made, #1 was the volvo and i believe that some of the 240 model filters could be used on a toyota.

yup TURBO NERDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use to use the 2Qt Puralator filters on my 70 model. That was back when I worked at Hi Lo and knew all the cross reference numbers to the Puralator and Wix filters. I need to spend some time over there and find out the cross# so I can start using the 2 Qt filters again. Adding an additional Qt of oil and more filtering area. The OEM Toyota filters are very good quality. :)

Made a call and had a friend cross reference it for me. Reg Wix filter number is 51515, holds half a quart. Wix# 51773, holds two quarts. O-Reilly keeps it in stock. :)
