Good news and bad news. Good news - just about everything buffed out and looks great. Bas news, the drivers side "scratch" is a 2' long dent...think I will just put some touch up paint on it so it doesn't rust and probably leave it for now.

Put a bandaid on it, take a pic and post. Scott still has his on.

Well this afternoon after I got it home from getting it buffed and everything, I notice my bumper is scratched up, and that was definitely not there last night. Also the plastic fender well has a melted spot where I imagine the buffer got it.

Strangely I am not really aggravated anymore. I guess I have been beaten into submission.

Tire Guage

Cole and I were tire guage-less at the Paradise run, so we ended up borrowing a normal "stick" one and a fancy one that screwed in and pulled the valve out or something.

Tonight I bought a dial type one at Walmart for $8. It has a button on it that will release the air and if you release the button you can read the pressure. Worked really nice.

Mike, I met your Mom Saturday at CVS in New Iberia. She was very nice and a pretty lady too. What a shame those genes missed you:D!! Anyway, I respect anyone's Mom who will notice you in an FJ40 and come up to you to say "you must be friends with my son." When I asked who that might be she said "Mike Theriot." She said she was on her way to visit you. Where's she from? I noticed an accent.

Scott i will be here all week just give me a call. I will be going back to TX on Monday for two weeks and back for a few days and so on and on and on.

Thanks bud.

I can practicly guarantee my brother was not there. he seems to be alergic to "hot" weather. it makes him break out in a sweat, and feel drained so he prefers to stay out of anywhere not air conditioned during august and late july.

Hey Moomtazz, how do you like those tires?

If i am not mistaken those are Geolanders right? they are one of the tires I am considering upgrading too when i step up to 37's and would just like to see what you thought of them. Only person I know with them has them on an F250 and he says he is not impressed, but his truck probably weighs 4000 pounds more than mine too.

I couldn't be happier with the tires. They actually feel better on the highway than the stock ATs, and aren't loud at all. They seemed to do well in the mud too. I haven't driven in the rain with them yet though.

Landry .... let me know if you're quitting your job to be a tree surgeon.

I'd imagine you're a bit warm at the moment.

You know, as i recall last time we where at paridise, nobody had a tire guage then either.

I would imagine that valve core removing modle would air down FAST.

Shirt order went out this pm...

No one asked for a refund ;)

Thanks boys!
