I cracked in half the second Toyota LC Tcase the other day I had in my 76 FJ40. Im running a 350 with a NV4500, locked at both ends, with 35's. The last one had a Tcase saver on it that I got from Over The Hill 4X4. I think the Atlas might be the right way to go, but hate to deal with a centered rear axle. Any suggestions?

38.5's, welded/locked, SM465 and a 72-case with an Amway saver. Thrashed the hell out of it for 5 years now with no problems. IMO, a mongo skidplate is as important to t-case survival as anything.

That said, my next setup will be a Marlin doubler with a 60-series split case on back. While I like the Orion, I prefer the gear selectivity of a doubler.

TBoss/Medusa-

Any pics?

Last I conacted Don Anway he was not doing the t-case savers anymore--got my check back with a note. That was 3 months or so.

Made my own T-Saver last year after breaking the second T-Case.

Since that it works, hope it will do for the next years to come

Hammerhead is incorperating the case savers and the crossmember into a bolt on assembly that should be a pretty substantial beef-up for our T-cases.
