I've had to run a screw through some of these after they broke. They are plastic corner connector tee pieces on my roof rack. They reside inside the corner chrome piece and the crossbar where it ties into it. I was unable to remove the part that is in the crossbar. I tried prying with a flathead screwdriver and pulling with pliers but couldn't get it without destroying it. I drilled and counterbored the outer tee piece and drilled a small pilot hole in the other piece to receive the screw. Then used a ss screw to connect

them back together.

It would be nice if someone reman'd these. But, I'm realistic that there are not a lot of these out there and that the rack is probably not worth repairing. I just bring this up to see what others have done (other than just remove the whole rack). Did you get the plastic part out of the crossbar? And to mention that you SHOULDN'T BE LOADING 6X6 TIMBERS OR OTHER LARGE HEAVY OBJECTS or IT WILL BREAK AT THE CORNER!

I found a part number but no better image of it.

9026905014

and the seal below the corner piece (more like a rubber gasket) is

6343590A00

I'm sure they are both long gone but would be nice to find a replacement piece.

Hi, I just took mine like that off. Falling apart after 40 years.
