Today my ac stopped working. To clarify, the front vents stopped blowing. When i clicked "rear air", the back vents blew and blew cold. Is there an easy fix that would cause my front fan to stop blowing. Any ideas? I am going to look at it tomorrow and am hoping it is simple fuse or something. Any help is greatly appreciated.

i still need the fan to blow heat. If it were the cold part, i would wait till April to deal with it. Its the blowing part though.

Does the fan not work on ALL settings? Try physically removing fan from lower PS side footwell. Check for interference and check if power going to fan terminals.

it randomly started working agian to day on all setting. I had pulled the fuse to check it and it was fine. I put the same fuse back in and everything worked fine. Who knows. It didnt seem to be loose when i pulled it.?.

I'm having the same issue. It's 93 degrees out and the AC is cold but not wanting to blow out the front vents. I can get some cold air out the floor vents. Rear air works good.

It sounds like the mode mix servo may be stuck or something in the controller isn't working right.

Have you tried cycling the system through all modes and temperatures? Do you hear any clicking noises from the dash?

The HVAC air mix servo servo can we watched if you get your head down in the pass side footwell and look up. From this uncomfortable position you can move the temp and air vent controls and watch the servo move. If there's a problem you may see it there.

I'll have to take a look. Another long trip today and after about an hour with max ac going, it's like the ac just loses its guys. The blower sounds like its running full bore but the air only comes out at a trickle. I can feel the lines from inside the hood are very cold but seems the common issue is after about an hour of going ac likes to die.

It sounds like it could possibly be low on refrigerant or something is going on with the blower. A while back, my blower started making sort of a vibrating noise when operating, and the AC would intermittently not blow. I replaced the blower and installed new filters, everything has been fine since.

My other truck, if I run the AC on cold for long trips, it seems like the mix doors will freeze up. After I cycle it through all modes and hot / cold it returns to normal operation.
