Broke down in San Felipe: help needed

85 4Runner, Marlin duel case 23 spline, R151F.

It appears I stripped the input coupling on the adapter or input gear on the transfer case. I can order the parts from Marlin, but I need help getting them to San Felipe. I was dragged yesterday to Pete's Camp north of town.

Is there anybody coming down this weekend, or willing to ferry them down? There is a shop near camp that should be able to help drop the case and install.

There is a daily mail shuttle from the border.
Go into the bar and find Jere or Jerry, he knows a few people to help you out, we rented a place at Petes last year from him during the 1000.
I can think of worse places to break down than Petes Camp.
