New owner 2018 LC...came with the bridgestones..will spend most time on pavement with part time in Western NC off road on fly fishing trips...will change out tires later as now they have little over 20,000 miles on them...truck owned by a Toyota dealer in Texas for over 2 years before I bought it with 33k + miles...question quality and size of tire...looking at Michelin Defenders when I replace...thanks for any input...

If you spend most of the time on pavement, go with Michelin Defender LTX E-rated tires. They are excellent: very quiet, usable for mild trail work, and will last a long, long time. I've run two sets and got in excess of 80,000 miles on each.

Thanks for the info...should I be worried that the Bridgestone are only 255’s

Yes, you should. Please identify which specific Bridgestone model tire and size you have.

If it is P255/70R18, then the tire is too small for your LC200 and is unsafe - it does not have the Load Limit capacity to safely support your vehicle.

Please let us know exactly the tire size and model.

OK. It looks like you have the Bridgestone Dueler H/T 685 in ISO-Metric size 255/70R18 113T SL. See the tire on the Bridgestone site here: Bridgestone Dueler H/T 685

If so, the Recommended Cold Tire Inflation Pressure (RCTIP) for that tire on your LC200 is 36psi Front/Rear.

At 36psi you will be running at the MAXIMUM Load Limit for this tire. It is also the MINIMUM allowable for safe operation. This means you are running at the absolute limit of this tire for use on an LC200. It is functional, but as it is at the limit of safety, it would not be my choice or recommendation.

If it were my choice, I would replace with a more suitable tire sooner rather than later. If you have any specific tire brand/model/size in mind, just post up and we will be happy to offer comments.

Why advocate jumping straight to an E-rated tire for a street driven vehicle? Tire pressure will have to go up substantially, negatively impacting ride quality, mileage will go down, and with zero benefit.
 
I advocate because that's what I did, and I had a fantastic experience with them. I'd have to check service records to be exact, but I probably clocked more than 200,000 miles on two different sets of those tires in my 200. All I experienced was great ride quality, incredible durability, and satisfaction.

I went with an E-series tire because sometimes my truck is heavily loaded, and I sometimes haul a utility trailer with some weight on it.

I loved the tire and had great experience with it. Opinions may vary, but this is mine and I wanted to share.
 
Passenger XL 285/60 Defenders are probably unbelievably smooth because my 275/70 E rated Defenders were quite pleasant.

E-rated tires would provide some buffer but frankly it isn’t necessary. The stock equipped p-metric XL tires are more than capable of hauling what the vehicle will, and don’t pay the penalty of higher cold inflation pressure or reduced mileage.
I’m glad you found something that works, just want to make sure people understand e-load is not required, and does come with some drawbacks.
