Is it true that these are not recommended for a daily driver cruiser? I'm interested but only if they will work in this application as well as off-road. (Wear characteristics vs strength properties I guess)

I don't think it would be as big a deal on a part time 4WD rig as on the 80s, unless you run with the hubs locked all winter...

Given that I can't find out any information regarding Nitro customer service or warranty I am going to pass on these...

Sorry for the slow response - took the family on a trip to grandma's house, and am just now back on the web.

I'm told that the Nitro's come with a lifetime warranty (just like the primary competition); but as I've never taken them out of the box, I have no experience in any sort of exchange. I can tell you that their customer service was great when I acquired these, and I have a contact name/number if you need it. Also, you'll notice that these are sold by shops with the highest reputations in the 'cruiser community.
