Hi everyone I just went fourwheel driving and I'm not sure what has happens but my brakes started getting harder and harder to push down and now feels like I'm trying to press the brakes when its not running just wondering if anyone knows what the problem could be and how I can fix it cheers.

Has the brake booster hose come off? Lack of vacuum would give you these symptoms.
If its connected then either your brake booster has failed or your vac pump on the alternator has stopped working.
If it was the vac pump there would be other symptoms such as not able to operate the 4wd button

Or as oldblue is wondering,is your power assisted clutch working(if you have one)?

90% of the time is will be the clutch booster seal on the cyclinder side of the booster. remove the vacum hose , block it with a bolt, start motor, check brakes.
