Seems the last week or so my brakes have been acting up. Only since it has gotten down to around 10 degrees or so. I have good pressure, but it is sometimes taking a little bit more to stop. We have the dreaded pogo nip frost, and I originally thought that was it, but that should brush off after the first or second time hitting the brakes. The brakes are bled and everything is in order, just wondering if the cold is affecting the lines or something. The rig is a 72 with an 81 disc front end and orig. drums in the rear. Maybe some of the guys in the colder climates like here can give me some hints. Thanks

The pads generally have to warm up to a minimum operating temp to work effectively. Also, there may be some water in the fluid which can also affect performance...

I thought that about the pads, but even after driving a bit, it does it. Maybe once out of 10 times, so maybe there is a little water in the system......thanks!
