I have a 2013 200 GXL with 45000kms on the clock when I purchased it 11 months ago , now has 60000 kms on clock ,
My problem is every so often the brakes slam on and it tries to slow down fro 100 kms per hr to about 70 kms pre hr the its good to go again . Its only done it when my wifes is driving and scares the s*** out of her .
Also shes says a yellow or orange warning light appears on the dash board I think its the anti skid light on the left ??
Has any one had this happen to them and what the Hell could it be ??
Thanks in advance ...

Most likely it’s the safety brake booster detecting a emergency braking.
Mine does that if I slam on the brake, it multiplies the braking force.

If you have radar cruise it is possible that the system will "think" it sees danger and brake strongly even though you see nothing. It happens but only rarely. You immediately check your six when it happens.

If radar cruise control is on it could be the radar cruise control sensing an object and trying to slow you down.

If cruise control is not on it sounds like a fault in the VSC to me. Maybe a sensor incorrectly senses wheel spin and tries to slow you down?

PCS won't apply the brakes, just preload them so when you apply them lightly they actually get applied with full force.
