Brake problem

My 84 FJ60 Has developed a strange braking problem. When I step on the brake, they work fine for a few seconds then the the pedal goes down part way. If I pump all is well. The fluid reservoir is full. I haven't tried a panic stop and haven't exceeded 30 mph. any Ideas??

I would say bleed yer lines... probably a bubble somewhere in the system.
