I am replacing the brake pads on the dodge mini van it had less then 40k and the pads are done I just wanted to know what brand is good I want good stopping and long lasting any one have a favorite they use.

With Toyota the OEM pads are pretty good; not sure about Dodge. I've also had good luck with various PBR pads and Napa pads. Describing what you want to a decent parts guy will get you what you want usually....

I get the Raybestos highest quality for my 60. They have layers of quality, get the best. Check your rotors
If they are thin they’re gonna get hot and wasting money on pads.

Raybestos have worked well for me in the past. I’d read up on the forums for your van. The Dodge shadow we had had stupid hard OEM pads that wore out rotors.

The cheap set of organic pads I put on my 40 in about ‘93-94 lasted 21 years and 95k miles. For 40s I recommend the fastest wearing pads you can find... $21/set vs $100+ x2 for rotors.

When I owned a dodge I realized that OEM is often not superior to the aftermarket (most aftermarket anyway).

Just order a good brand like Beck Arnely, Napa etc. Perhaps avoid the cheapest offerings out there.

Hawk pads have been my go to for years as far back as when I had my shop next to North West Fab, properly bedded I can honestly say they are the best I have ever used. They are high performance and need a good run of proper bedding to seat in right.
