Brake Line First Aid Kit

Once again I f'ed a brake line. Had to drive all the way from the iron bridge at Gorges state park to greer with 0 Brakes tonite. It only took four hours . Anyways if your on the trail and a brake line gets GONE whats the best way to limp her home. Vicegrips work good on soft lines but what can I do for the hard lines. I really need to install a transfercase disk brake parking setup.

Kink the metal line over a few times and then install vice grips. It's also handy to carry a 10mm brake line plug.

yea a plug works better for me,,,, than having a set of vise grips zip tied to the axle...

But there is just something awesome about vise grips zip tied to your axle - or better yet duct taped!
