Hi all. I cant evacuate all brake fluid from reservoir. Its not even close to the min line. I do t see any filter inside ,only plastic with the small hole. I dont want yo force it to remove it since im not sure if its removable. Thanks in advance

The member posting this thread used a syringe with a tube small enough to fit.

You’re over thinking it. Suck as much as you can out of the reservoir, fill with new, and then bleed the system from each caliper, going from furthest to nearest (I think it’s rear passenger, rear driver, front passenger, front driver).

If you gravity bleed just check the reservoir every 10 mins or so and top it off with new fluid as needed. Easy peasy.

I used techstream for my recent flush and it was even easier.

So i dont have to empty reservoir? The fluid level is still above min line.

Just remove what you can with the tools available and the flush process will do the rest.
I have mityvac. If i fill new fluid it will mix with the old one. I thought its important to remove all of the old fluid and fill reservoir with new before bleeding.

You’re going to get some mixing, there’s no way around it. The idea is to flush out all the old fluid using the new fluid.

Thanks everybody for help. Decided to do hybrid method mytivac and techstream since the techstream does not the bleed the fluid. Its all clean now.
