Does anyone know if calipers from other series i.e. 80, 90, 100, etc would fit on a 62? What other brake upgrade options are available? Thanks.

What problems are you having with the '62 that make you want to change? I've found the '60 calipers easy to work with and they are readily available for exchange. The pads last for a reasonable length of time (my Dodge Cummins went through 3 sets before the 'Cruiser was done with one!). What more could one want?

My rig has post '96 (read IFS) four runner four piston calipers with four runner vented disks!

Stops like a bitch!

My front right caliper tend to stick once in a while and causes a squeeling noise. Did the 4-runner calipers just replace the old calipers or did you have to modify it in any way? Thanks guys.

Arn't they all 4 piston calipers and vented disks ???? When I got a new caliper for the '76 FJ55 the same caliper as my '82 BJ60 came up and it was stock at the local jobber which makes me think it's the same as a 4Runner or pickup. The FJ55 rotor is also vented as is my '82 BJ60!

Yes, but the mini/4runner have 4 equal size, but larger sized pistons compared to the 60 series stuff.
