So, I'm swapping out the brake booster that came with my 47 series truck for one (out of a BJ60) that is set up for front disc brakes. I noticed that the booster no the firewall of the cab from the 60 is a larger diameter than the one from the all-drum braked 47. Conversely however, the auxiliary vacuum tank on the 47 (the two pictures to the right) is nearly 4 times larger than the coffee-can sized on on the 60 (see left below).
My question boils down to: would there be any bad consequences to using the larger tank from my 47 with the larger booster from the 60? I've attached pictures the first is the small tank from the 60, the other two are the 47 series tank.
