Brake/abs pump assy experiences

I purchased a 1999 lx470 and the previous owner replaced the brake/abs pump assy before I aquired it. I am not getting any alarms nor is it leaking fluid, but that being said the pump is rather noisy and it pumps the system up like every third brake pedal pump. Is this normal?

Sounds about normal. Depends on what "rather noisy" means. It sounds noisy with the engine off, audible with the engine idling, and difficult to hear during normal driving. You can also feel it running through the pedal.

Audible when truck is turned off, at idle, and stopped. Def has the feel. Thanks for the info.
