Not dead actually.Guys, there hasn't been a rack offered all year. Safe to say these are dead in the water. Even before that production was limited.
Still interested in this. Any progress with getting Bowfin set up?Not dead actually.
I bought my partner out of my main business after 27 years (have been trying to do that for 20).
That happened and Bowfin went to sleep. I don't want that, but that is the deal. My other business has always paid the bills. Bowfin has run on near zero margin to build brand and market identity - true labor of love. There are a pile of new things ready to go but still trying to work that out. As of 2025, my powder coating business and Bowfin will merge. At that point the big decision will be to get busy livin, or get busy dying (more) for Bowfin offerings.
Bowfin Cruisers is my happy place. I hope to make it very much real again.
I am so grateful to all the awesome people that get it and have stayed loyal. Cruisers are the perfect glue that holds awesome people together!
There is!Still interested in this. Any progress with getting Bowfin set up?
Awesome news Patrick! Huge win for the community that you have these back in production.I am posting here on this thread first, and not on the website. Bowfin racks for the 80 and 60 series!
I have several sets of 80 series racks ready to wrap and go, and 3 sets of 60 series racks ready to wrap and go
I am leaving the website set at "Out of stock" for now so members here on ih8mud can have first shot.
80 series racks are prices at $1200. and 60 series racks are $1300
Shipping is usually $80-$100 but I can get you a number for that once I have order requests and addresses.
If you want a rack, please PM ME. I will take your info and create an order off the Bowfin Cruisers site for you, then send an invoice when the racks are going to ship. Processing for this run will be only a few days. When we are out of inventory I will keep the thread updated and get another round going.
Thanks so much to all who have waited!

These racks are amazing! I’ve had mine on my 100 for several years years now with no issues whatsoever. Happy to hear more people will be able to enjoy them too.I am posting here on this thread first, and not on the website. Bowfin racks for the 80 and 60 series!

Pat,I hadn't mentioned it yet, but all roof racks are black with black cross bars, and black hardware. I just haven't had enough interest to do the stainless/silver color and stock the pieces.
Also, if you pm me about a rack I need to know:
Do you want the regular front/fairing panel? Or the panel with a light bar cutout? - The cutout is for 40-41" single row bars
I can get you exact shipping cost but I would need to know your complete address to calculate it. I get way better rates through my website for shipping so all orders will be custom generated there, and an invoice sent to you.
Thanks!
Got one set aside for you.Pat,
If you're doing a run of parts, I'd be interested in a fairing panel with a light bar cutout that I could use on my existing (your old 80's) rack.
Thanks

Thanks!Got one set aside for you.
Still need to get your 3rd row seats to you. I sure am missing that truck. I am definitely better at buying Cruisers than selling them, lol.
She's a beauty. I probably shouldn't look at old picture's!Thanks!
That truck is about to hit the market again, this time with a ton of fixes (Valve seals, exhaust, driveshaft, Aux fuel gauge, proper plugs, brake, AC, ABS / LSPV delete, etc...). It's driving perfect, quiet and smooth.
The rack is going on the repainted truck, when I'm ready.
You have first shot at it if you'd like it back!

Looks great! Beautiful 80
