Over 3 years ago, I purchased a leather kit from AATLAS1X. For reasons that I don't need to bore you guys with, I never got around to getting it installed. It sat in the box through a Colorado winter, Arizona summer and then some - I expected the worse when I opened the box last week.

Long story short, the kits were in pristine condition and ended up fitting like a glove which is a testament to the quality of these kits.

Couple of crappy pics:

That looks great!
I have been eyeing a few different ones on eBay but am not convinced they will look right. Thanks for the post. I will look into AATLASIX.

What a tease. @Phenx48 you might want to do a couple searches in the bad sellers section first. These kits are NLA.

This is just wrong on so many levels...:bang::doh::crybaby:

Please do your research first. Search here for AATLASIX/Labrack

His customer service is not on par with his products.
Darn near opposite with numerous dissatisfied customers. A shame as it was a nice product.

Yea, just read through some of the threads regarding this. s*** - hope it doesn't look like I'm rubbing it in for those who got a raw deal.

I've read good things about Frank's covers. trying to recall his screen name

I was in the exact same situation. Bought my leathers before he turned into a steaming pile of crap. Three years almost to the day before I installed...well, the fronts anyway. Quality was great although I never got my complete order. People ask me all the time and I refuse to give him any credit or kudos.

Frank's screen name is @FloridaFJ80
His website -Land Cruiser Heaven

My video review of his leather kits, for those that are looking for other vendors.
@hoon - Not discounting Metric at all... we all know his kits were great. And your leather looks great installed!
But people can search and come to their own conclusions. I went with Land Cruiser Heaven.

I have a first row kit coming from Frank (aka Land Cruiser Heaven). Due next week.
Frank is your go-to guy. He'll respond quickly, pleasureable and without the addition of some sort of drama.

OP, that install looks fa-nomenal!

Thanks @iptman, @retrofive and @jwilliams for your input. I will revisit your direction and do additional research before i get to my wish list. Until then I have more pressing things to replace on my 80. @hoon, I am glad your covers look nice, especially after sitting in the boxes for so long...

Looks like Frank's kit is real leather? Metric metric TLC kit is silicone or imitation leather , not real leather. I was disappointed with the claim. Shows worn spot after 3yrs.

Question for you? Do you still have the old leather and would you sell it? I need some patch material. BTW, that leather looks great! Best that I have seen.

Gosh no, sorry. Never thought about having some around for patch leather.

I’m in the same boat, got the Metric TLC leather and never installed. I’ll have them installed in a few weeks and I’m wondering if I should treat them prior to install. They’ve been in a box and are still as soft and clean as the day I got them. Someone mentioned treating them before install. I don’t know about leather care so I’m wondering if I should and if so with what?
