I live in Bham. "I ron delay". Would appreciate your opinion if you would like to come by. I'm between again and wife has had surgery (doing very well) and I stay in the garage most of the time. My dog is the only company most of the time.

I thought you moved to the black belt? You back?

Spent eight months down there in an apartment. After having to terminate several locals things got a little tense with some late night visits and middle fingers in Walmart. I was ok with it but found it was no place to move to and wife said no way. She only came to visit twice.

Never sold my home here and glad I had it. Job completed and back home I came.

Well dang! I was in Irondale today! cross the road from Six Flags Over Jesus. Church of the Highlands. That's near you ain't it?

You can almost throw a rock from there to mine hut. Maybe 1/2 mile.

The 80 is cleaning up very well and runs like a champ. Seems the dirt was hiding a very nice cruiser. Got all new front brakes and parts for the rear, including parking brakes, came today. Straightened the bumper and almost dislocated my shoulder twisting it back into shape. Cleaned off all the fake wood that looked like heck. Fixed both power seats and found about $2.00 in change. Got the interior lights working to. When the original head gasket blew, it covered everything in front of the engine with oil. Don't know if it will ever come off. Isn't the fan supposed to be white? Ha.

Used some heavy carpet cleaner inside and it worked ok and removed the cracked pin striping. Feeling a lot better about buying this one.

Becoming a NICE FIND.

Can't make up my mind about which one to keep. I was told that one has to go real soon.

Try to sell both at the same time and keep the one that doesn't sell first? Can't make a good decision about them. The 100 is almost perfect and the 80 really needs me and $. With the 100 I don't have anything to work on.

The 80 will keep me busy for a while. It needs exhaust work, oil leak fixed, lift and tires. Mods will make it exceed it's value pretty quick.

What would you do if you had to make a choice?

I would keep the100... But I have never driven a 100.

I have both and if I had to choose the hundred would get the axe, but it wouldn't be easy. After the engine steering and suspension get freshened up the 80 is a great ride and fun to tinker with.
There are a lot of people that belive they were the pinical of the Land Cruiser.

P.S. Don't take car advise from some one who thinks swaping a Land Cruiser for a Trooper is a good Idea.

When is your nephew getting that 80? Or is he getting the 100 now?

Not sure what that has to do with this thread but hopefully soon.
No hundred for him.

Sell both and get a good 40 and 60.

After driving the manual for the last two days, I arrived to work this morning with my beard being 3" longer! This gear shifting increases testosterone! And tires you out! Whew! No wonder Godwin has a man's beard!

I'd stick to automatics for the casual driver!

There are a lot of people that believe they were the pinnacle of the Land Cruiser.

Check the fluid in the clutch master.

The out of balance tire probably isn't helping much either.

The nice guy that sold it to him topped off the clutch master before he closed the sale. :)
