anyone know where to go to find boston or cape cod area mechanics working on the 80's? not looking to do major work but would like to find someone familiar with them. i have some leads but they are further away than i would like. thanks.

Hey, Just wanted to throw a recommendation out there for any FJ owners looking for a mechanic in the Boston area. Volsar Automotive in Medford is a great shop to work with. Eddy has alot of experience with FJ40/60/62/80s and has built several from the ground up. Very responsive, great guys.

ok i called them. from that thread it sounds like eddie retired and a guy named gus took over. i can't tell if there was a complaint about the new ship or now but still looking FWIW.
i've got some options i think but still hoping for recommendations.
