Borescope for smartphone? (1 Viewer)

Anyone used one for cylinder inspection? Looking at used LS engines soon and thought it would be a worthwhile investment. Looks like the ones used with smartphones are pretty cheap, but hoping someone has a recommendation.

I have this, I like it. Doesn't get used often, but when i need it, it does the trick. Came with a few little attachments as well.

Oops, just realized that's not the same one JC. That's a USB you need a laptop for, is that what you used? I'm hoping for one to work with my phone, for portability.

The one I posted I only use with my phone. It has a USB-A to USB-C adapter that came with it (check out the product pics for an example of this). There's an app on the phone connects to the borescope and displays the picture on my phone.

Got this one to verify oil pump to oil pan baffle clearance. Worked decent.

Just checked and mine (bought in 2015) is no longer available. But it was a basic cheapy thing, and Rice and I used it to inspect the cylinder walls on some 'low mileage' import motors I was considering buying. Good enough resolution for me to pass on them.

I bought this one a year ago and it works fine. Makes me wish I had a 3rd hand, to be honest, but it's gotten plenty of use.
