boooogereeed fill plug on t-case....

i lost my vise grips which i normally take it off with ( hey c-dan i need a new one )

anywho, is there another bolt i can remove to fill the t-case? as in the same method for fill the rear diff on a semi-floater? i.e. pull one of the top diff cover studs....

Pull the pto cover and use a siphon pump to drain it.

You might overfill if you do that. You have to measure the oil depth by stikin' your finger in the little hole...not that there's anything wrong with that.

Plug'll be in the mail tomorrow, dude.

You should be able to get pretty close by filling via the pto cover.

as for overfilling it....i always over filled it a lil bit. not such a good idea? to much heat?

Ah, it's no big deal, really. It was just sitting in one of my tool box trays anyway. It's just a plug...

I think overfilling it by just a touch isn't that big of a deal - but if you put a quart too much in it, then I'd bet there'd be problems.
