Looking for bolt and thread size of the Valve Assembly, Air Control. Mine developed a crack and as using K&N air filter is non functional. So intend on capping/replacing with simple solid bolt. But need to know proper thread size.

You’re saying you want to delete the idle air control valve

and block it off with a bolt?

With out it, you’ll put extra strain/load on the steering vane pump in slow driving maneuvering- might accelerate failure of your pump.
 
Just broke my 17630-16040 right before a trip, @wpod did this work? I'm tempted to try as there's probably no way I can get this part same day from the dealer. Of course i may stripped the union bolt too, so i might be screwed either way.

Hey having the same issue. Power steering fluid leaking at the idle control on the screw end. Hoping it’s just a loose thread. Similar issue?
