bolt specs? (1 Viewer)

The timing cover has three bolt sizes and I'm told their placement is critical. Does anyone have the specs on them?

The catalogs list part numbers but no size info. The parts houses and dealers just go by the diagrams, so they're no help. I'd like to get the bolts without waiting for ordering and delivery delays.

These are a 6mmx1.0 fastener, the trick with them however, is the different lengths, and the corresponding placement in the cover. Perhaps Dave(IDave) or someone else with a scanner can post up the diagram from the FSM on this for the F engine. The 2F book lists the lengths, IIRC, but you are going to need a REALLY GOOD hardwear store...you know, the ones with a wood floor, most likely to come up with something close...I know that there are a couple that are under 10mm long...


Best bet:

Call Cdan and get the correct ones on order....do not be in a hurry....this will only lead to re-work....especially with this specific repair.
