Good or Bad?
I'm in market for a 100 and evaluating.....

You are speaking of the "flares" added to the fenders I guess. They can be removed easily enough it will show some paint scuffing underneath.
That can be buffed and polished to make it less noticeable.

I can still see some lines on mine but I like the look w/o the flares.

Go Tigers!

That may mean the Hundy came from the South. IIRC, there were two mega dealers down south that added those on import.

This is correct, Toyota US and Gulf States Toyota IIRC. Only Gulf States has flares. They are actually kinda hard to find, so unless you just don't like them, I'd keep them.

Thanks all!

The flares were added at the distribution center to load up the profit margin. Not from Toyota. Mine were installed at Southeast Toyota Distributors for about $450 before going to a dealer.

Any pics of this fender flair option?

Here you go......

Very tough to find a 100 in the S.E. without the fender "garnishes". The ones they used here are useless stick-on pieces... supposed to make the LC look fancy. They go well with the running boards and minivan tires. As a bonus, the scratch the s*** out of the paint.
