Here is the Saudi Cruiser parked at SOR. The font is not as weird as I thought, but I like the "Land Cruiser". I like the simplicity of this one.

"What am I looking at again?" ......"Oh, it's a LAND CRUISER"

Get in line, I have been trying to get LnMsjf to make up some. Super Cool.

He could sell a few sets for sure. Don't know what happened to him, though.

Doesn't answer any messages or mails.

this web site is not complete but....

Was doing some color changes on what a land cruiser may look like in two tone color with the colors running diagonal across the cruiser.

This is not a complete site by far. I need somone to show me how to code some html on how to open up a popup or show the thumnail image in another frame within the same page. But getting ideas for a custom cruiser color would be interesting. If Mine is ever painted again, it will have a nature sceen with killer whales with a forested backdrop in it. I think it would look killer.

haryv, Thanks for the compliments on my wagon. I just wish I wasnt going to have to repaint it at some point. (I have rust free 3 new doors and both front fenders to go on.) SOme of those colors on your page looks like the cheap-o paint jobs back when i was in hs (the fade look) usually looks nasty. And I dont think it fits a cruiser wagon. But to each his own.

I am styill all about some grafic down the side.

You need to have some kind of indian shaman with his sexy wife holding their daughter in a papoose surveying the majesty of the killer whales and geese and orangutangs. And put a big sunset in there with some metal flake.

Hells yeah.

Don't forget the Unicorn bursting out of an egg in front of Zodiac sky....

From what I have seen and read that is the name for those tripe kits. Disco stripes. Might just be what everyone calls them?

I still think they are sweet.

I did some searching on the web for these - I found a lot of places that are happy to make vinyl cut-outs off your design, but we need the design/measurements. Does anyone here have access to toyota? a friend who works there, someone in the know with toyota off-road? I can't believe they'd keep too tight a grip on these designs after all these years.

jgordon,
can they make it in the fade colors etc? Not just a solid stripe here and there etc? And do it for a reasonable price? Coswt is always an issue.

89s,

I assume, as Jacob stated, that anything's possible for enough money. I doubt this would be cheap, unless you half-ass it (buy a bunch of stripes and lay them next to each other for the solid secitons, then cut to shape, etc). What I'm hoping for is that toyota has the original measurements somewhere, to be cut from a solid sheet of vinyl, and that we will be able to find them. I think fades in general are pretty expensive, but someone, somewhere has to be in possession of the measurements. when I have more time, I'll call tlc4x4, etc to see if anyone with more connections can make something happen.

did anything ever come of this? does anyone know where someone can get "disco graphics" for a 70 series cruiser???

thanx

LAVA

To hell with the 70 Cruisers! We NEED them to maintain the "retro-ability" of the FJ6X's! The retro-ability of these rigs is more important than the transfercase.

How did I miss this?:hillbilly:
