Hey gang, if you are on the voting board, please go to the private section here on mud. Bodrepsi and bodrepsii have been down for a while and won't be back up right away. As a result, we haven't been able to get the word out about this meeting and probably won't have a quorum. I am more or less inclined to simply reschedule for next Thursday if that's ok by everyone else.

That is correct, however watch your servers Woody! Word has it that Morgan's server experienced a hard crash and the LCML may be down for a while, maybe for good. Reportedly he didn't have off-site backup

Not only still around but was still going strong with many long-timers. Traffic isn't what it was in say, 1999, but yeah it has continued to be a low-B/W alternative with many enthusiasts.

Actually, I never cared too much for his music even at his peak...check that...especially at his peak. But I kinda like some of the old J5 stuff I remember from when I was a kid though. As a fellow musician/performer I certainly admired his talent, even if his music wasn't my cup of tea. But man that dude got WIERD!

I'll tell you who I'm really bummed about is Farrah Fawcett. I had that swimsuit poster on my wall when I was a teenager!

Boy is that an understatement. I don't have 1st hand info, that was from the rumor mill. I have an email in to Morgan but haven't heard back.

I got caught being nonchalant a little bit recently. I got a new computer in March, built it and hadn't backed anything up - it's new right? Was too busy configuring and getting work done and who'd think a 2 month old HD would self-destruct? Wham!

So normally I back up at least every week, more often if I have a bunch of new work representing a lot of time and effort. But I hadn't even gotten the scripts installed yet to auto-backup with the new box when the HD mechanically went south. I didn't lose a whole lot, but more than I would have liked. Back up and running, but building a new computer is freaking time consuming!

You're in. Hadn't checked since yesterday. Still learning about vBulletin and configurations. I get email reminders when there are new posts to threads I'm subscribed to (which is how I got a reminder about your post), and to PMs, but not for requests to join the BOD section.

Indeed I already do that. That way, when there's a new thread started I get a summary once a day. Still not quite sure how to get an email when someone's asked to be let into the private BOD section though...
