Is it possible to modify my factory Bluetooth in my '04 so it receives music through my phone? Right now it only allows phone calls. I know I can add third party devices to make it work but was curious if there is a simple mod or software update to allow what I got already to function.

I was hoping there was just some factory tweak I could make. If the phone works through the speakers already why can't it play music through them? There's no hidden menu in the touchscreen to "enable" such a thing?

Just to add a little more info to this thread, I was viewing a video sent to me in a text today and I was surprised when it started playing over the bluetooth connection through the speakers. So apparently it will play more than just phone calls, it seemed to "think" the text was a phone call, I don't remember but I believe outgoing. I did try Pandora and nothing but may play around with random apps and Apple Music and see if anything else works. Anyone else find things that will play over BT besides phone calls?
