Mirrors came black from Spector- Dave We go to asheville all the time- I will be down in weaverville next week to finish up my stereo install. Its funny the only people that give a s*** about a clean 60 are Cruiserheads- I must say that this rig brings a smile to my face every time I drive it. My next goals are rear bumper with tire swingout and arb short roof rack, then maybe rear locker....maybe. I put a new alternator on it today and If my dumbass didnt drop a screw on my gravel driveway I would have had it done it 15 minutes. I Love working on such a simple machine.

I agree Nobody cares too much about them except someone that owns one or has owned one in the past. I was driving through Hendersonville yesterday and my wife pointed out a 60 with a nice roof rack on it to me. thought it was kind of funny. Yea they are nice and simple to work on. Only thing easier is my old mustang and i can sit in the engine compartment with the motor to work on it. Where are you having your stereo installed at? I am ab out to redo mine again i think. I just redid theo one in my wifes car with a bluetooth headset and now i want one. they are pretty cool. I got some infinity 6x9's for the rear and looking to install some components for the front. Are you going to build your rear bumper or buy one. i want to try building mine.

Well apparently somebody in asheville liked it alot and tried to steal it out of the mall parking lot. Went in to get a new cell phone, came out and my driver door was wide open. I always lock my doors. Luckily my stereo and anything valuable was locked in my tuffy console( best 150.00 I spent so far) I was parked in the handicap spot right in front. I am wondering if it was another old toyota key or a slimjim. I am feeling pretty paranoid about now and am going to be getting serious about theft protection.

Dave as far as stereo goes I had a guy in Weaverville put it in I can get you his number if you want it- Came out awesome and sounds like a much more expensive setup.

Dude that sucks. Did they get anything? What carrier you use for cell phone. Got a cruiserhead friend that works for verizon over in hendersonville. I am going to be upgrading to one of the tuffy consoles i think to. I have the stock one and it is about to fall apart. I am also going to get a new alarm with one of the motion sensors.

Went with verizon- gets best coverage here- I have a 8" with stereo console. Got it from mud- saved me about a grand- especially since I happen to put my radar detector and wifes wallet in it. Alarm is in my future before I head back.
