I have the factory 17 inch rims for the GCC spec 2006 lc (see picture

) and I am interested in spray painting them black. Has anyone done this? What will it look like (ive seen the 16 inch ones painted but cant find 17 inchers)? Any problems/complications?
 
Do you have Plastidip there? You can spray on, and if you don't like it, just peel it off.

16's, not 17s, but I just Plastidipped mine earlier this week because I was away from home and I didn't have time to let the paint set up with the tires off. Plastidip should last for a little while at least. It actually turned out much better looking than I expected. It dries with a smooth finish, somewhat flat.

best method would be tires off or you can tape them up, you can go down the spray can route or if you want professional give the subaru service center in shj a call, last I checked with them their rates for painting were very low.

Plasti Dip all day.

Looks good! Stock suspension or lifted?
