Hi Guys,

I just bought a couple of JDM's, one of them is a 1988 Limited Edition with only 68,000km's on it. Anyway, I was wondering what the differences are in the Limited Editions and the stock LX? Apparently it is one of 350 made?

From what I understand they came with:

-Upgraded interior and suspension seats
-Upgraded rims
-Came with lightforce driving lights and brush guard

Anything else?

This one is a sweetheart, it even has the maintenance records and all the original documents.

Does anyone here have one?

Thanks in advance.

Louis

LOL, no kidding, well I think there is a little more to it than that, but thats funny.

That first one sure is clean! It seems like the rubber bumpers/clamps that secure the windshield wheren folded over are missing from the hood. I think I see hinges on the windshield?

I don't know what Limited Edition means anymore, the auto manufacturers have diluted the significance somewhat.

Are you offereing either for sale?

Ya it looks like it Wayne, thats what I thought.

Moose, I am just finalizing my dealers license, I will be selling JDM cruisers shortly. I'll make my website public as soon as I get the approval from OMVIC - the people, who after much hoop jumping, will give me my license.

Regards

Louis

Where are you located?
The more JDMs the better, maybe they will one day go down to a price I can afford, or I will go up in salary and we will meet somewhere inbetween!
Cheers,
Deny

that sure looks like a sweet unit, congrates on the purchase. Ontario should be a good location. not much for wheeling but lots of people.
we are located in Goderich, Ontario. where are you located?
cheers

I'm in Ottawa, there is some good wheeling into Quebec, I have a camp about 6 hours from here, all the 4 wheeling you can handle. Not the rocky stuff though.

I was in Goderich once, I am a pilot and was passing through.

Wayne - I Thought you were in Alberta?

Louis

Yep, Luxury Imports Inc's base is here. We opened a branch in Ontario about 2 months back now.
Ottawa, i can not say i have been over there. i grew up near Owen Sound and there is very little wheeling there. it is mostly farm land and cottages...
how many km on the grey BJ74 and what prices are you asking? never can tell i might know some buyers in Ontario (since i do not have any 74s at the moment)
cheers

Are you bringing a JDM to next week's meeting?
And where do you wheel in Québec? Maybe we can go sometime together with a bunch of other guys.
Matt

HI Wayne,

the grey one has higher kms - 171,000 i'll probably keep it for myself though as it has lockers and i dont mind a vehicle with 171k on it.

Unfortunatly I am not allowed to put prices on anything as I'm not a dealer yet - OMVIC is very strict as you know and I dont want to mess up my registration.

Sorry Matt, not JDMs this week, they wont be here for another month or so.

Regards

I have an 89 BJ74 with about 24k miles on it. it has all the options including suspension seats, Automatic trany, AC, powers everything even has headlight washers, cable lockers, SS brush bar, but it is not a limited edition so I am not sure what being a limited edition gets you.

Cheers,

Michael

My 88 FJ 73 is LX limited edition.

Mine seems to have dealer fitted items such as spotlights, bull bar ,side steps and aftermaket off road rims more suited to aussie tastes.

Does yours have LE stickers on the sides?
