My BJ74 has been rolled and I am hoping to repair the LH rear quarter panel with a new
Toyota part. But my source to Japan indicates that replacement quarter panel specifically for a BJ74 are obsolete.
There are listings for HZJ73 rear quarter panels, with a 'large cargo' area; then they list a rear
quarter panel with a 'small cargo' area. Phone enquiries to the Japan parts supplier can't give reason
as to what the differences are.
My thoughts: The plastic cargo box in the side panel is different?
There is something besides just the factory jack located on that side?
There is nothing else located internally within the side panels as this truck appears to be stock.
The side panels vents are similar to both types, and by my eye are located in the same place.
So I'm hoping someone with body panel experience can lend some advice, and if there are differences
or not and you have pictures to verify I would be really appreciative.
