During some winter maintenance, I found that the u-joint of the ''shaft assy, steering intermediate NO.2 (45260-60050)'' was seriously worn.

After some WEB search, I quickly found that the u-joint was not available, alone. Only the purchase of the new shaft at Toyota could provide this new u-joint.

In addition, this piece is unique to the BJ70... in north america.

So I removed the u-joint from the shaft and shopped a new u-joint.

So here, for your information, the characteristics of the new u-joint... +/- 50$

Hope that help!

How many kms did it take to wear the u-joint out.

What kind of weather do you have that pits the u-joint like that???

I wonder if the whole shaft could be replaced with aN australian or JDM shaft?

Not only is it pitted, but the yokes are flared apart.

Where can i buy this brand? Im looking for this u joint also for my 70.

I can't help you to narrow your search.

I just bring the old one the the u-joint shop and voilà ! Try with dimession on the box.
