Probably a novice question but here it goes. When ordering front axel parts like gaskets, bearings, hubs, brake caliper, rotors, etc. am I to assume my '87 BJ70 is the same parts as an '87 FJ60? or?

You should be ok 99% of the time.

Best odds I've had in a long time. Thanks

The reason I added that it is because in some years the part numbers change but not necessarily at the same time for the 60 and 70.
The part may differ slightly ,but still do the job

I did a full on front end rebuild on a CDN 1985 BJ-70 and all the 40/60/62 series stuff worked. Also, some of the 60/62 series rigid brake lines on the axles worked well also if you have to replace any

As long as they didn't change the BJ-70 from 85 to 87 you should be Ok.

Thanks for all your answers I'm going to order the complete front hub kit from Marlin Crawler then pick up the brake parts at the local NAPA.
