BJ40 - what year?

I came across a nice well used BJ40 at the shopping center at Naples, Fl. while visiting my dad from California. Since I don't know very much about BJ40 myself, I have some questions.

What year is that? Is this snorkel factory installed? I know this model must be after 1979 since the white benzel is square but the turn signal light is not square but round?

I would just say between 1979 and 1984 (and could be a BJ42 instead of a BJ40)

Neither the snorkel nor the blinkers are OEM in my opinion.

I would guess 1979 or 1980,and I agree with Tom that neither the round lites nor the snorkel are OEM. LHD would indicate it came from Central America ,perhaps Costa Rica??
