Anyone know of a source of information where I may find out how many BJ40 series are registered in the US?

Thanks for the heads up. Bringing this beauty back. My 13 top to bottom restoration. First Toyota Land Cruiser. Only metal not replaced hood/bonnet and firewall. New brake system from master cylinder to the drums, new electrical system with upgraded lighting, new Old Man Emu suspension and motor & drive train rebuilt using Nitro 3.71-1 ratio. 4 years of work. I did all mechanical myself and had it painted baked enamel process. Plan on driving for a few years and selling. California here. I come! Thanks again.Assuming they’d tell you (or that they even know) you’d need to get that information from each individual state then add them all together to get a total for the US.
Vehicle registration is a state thing, not a national thing. I doubt most states would differentiate between models for a given year, it would just be “1975 Toyota Landcruiser” (or whatever) to them, not specifically a BJ40.
Someone may have started a list somewhere online, but it’s very unlikely every vehicle is included.
Happy to be wrong about all this though. I hope you figure it out.
Oh yeah, I absolutely loath Bama. Go War Eagle!Assuming they’d tell you (or that they even know) you’d need to get that information from each individual state then add them all together to get a total for the US.
