Hello all, am having a problem with my 3B diesel BJ blowing its high beams (only high beams) These are a 12V light on an otherwise 24V system (a 12V feed is taken for each side, left battery supplies 12V to left light, etc). I used a voltmeter, the switch sends 12V to low when on low and 12V to high when switched to high, seems normal. Is this as simple as a short to ground on the high beam wiring or is this some 24V anomaly I've never heard of? Help would be appreciated.

might want to try the diesel section....im having a similar problem with tail lights...it seems im going through them way too often as well

I've always thought some vehicles just do it I had an isuzu(the shame) it got through a pair of bulbs every 3000 miles or about 3 weeks. Mever looked for the problem but I'd like to know the ansewer incase it happens on my 40.

Good luck
