I broke the cage on one of my mini truck birfs when removing it from the inner axle. The inner race balls and the birf itself are in good shape. I was wondering if I could use the cage out of one of the coarse splined birfs that I removed. I already bought an aftermarket replacement birf so I just want to have this frankenbirf for a spare. Does anyone see any problems with this?
