Thanks :)

One more of those , and we'll call you "Triple-X" ....

Just pasted the url of the pics there into another browser .. they look kinda wet , as my pics do on another thread ...

hmmm...I see em, but I guess no one else does..I need a better site to host my pics...as for the birfs...I guess wet is bad...Hmmm

Just resize em to around 500x300 .jpg , under 80kb and add them as an attchment here . When you post a message , before you press 'submit reply' you can go further down the page where it says 'manage attachments' and then browse for the resized pic you have on your HD .. 'upload' them and then close that small window , return to your 'reply' screen and press 'submit' .

TY

PS : You and I see them because they are now in our caches .. but until others paste the urls into a browser , they will not see them 'inline' with your message either .

saved them to attach ...

does not look like there is a lot of gear oil in that, if any. best test is to pull the square fill plug and see what inside.

Doesn't look overly bad to me. Pull the fill/check plug and see what you can find. Also check the diff oil, if the diff oil is up full and that's what the knuckles look like (and there is some grease in the birfs) then looks pretty good. Still could use a repack and all that but probably not something you need to do NOW, but when you have time within a year or so.

Good Luck..

Been wanting to use this one. :flipoff2:

Looks fine to me.

Tyler, Your tits are mesmerizing.

uh, note of caution here. Mine looked just like that and then one grenaded a few days later. Plenty of grease in the outside housing when you checked the fill plug, none left on the inside.

What is the mileage? anything over 100k and I would do them. Up to you.

I believe this is a new purchase and may have been cleaned. The metal looks wet like it had gunk on it. Check the fill plug above the knuckle using a small metal stick. Not only are you concerned about level, but how thick the grease is. If its runny, then you may have an inner seal problem.

(C-Dan_ did I paraphrase you well?)
