so i have been updating bilstein options and could use some help. i have confirmed from this thread that the old bilstein part number for the 4600 series monotube shock has changed.

https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/457195-revised-bilstein-part-numbers.html

OLD ......................................NEW
F4-B46-1477-H1......................24-014779 front
F4-B46-1478-H0 (or H1)............24-014786 rear

this checks out at bilstein .com as the new pn# is what bilstein lists for the 80 series. so i updated the faq.

however, i have come across what might be another bilstein shock series. these are just called "heavy duty" and are listed by a few sites including amazon as fitting the 80 series. the part numbers are not recognized by bilstein.com. anyone know if this is the same shock or a different series?

W0133-1609707 front (sold directly by amazon)
W0133-1910518 rear (sold on amazon by autopartsway)
W0133-1609625 front (sold directly by amazon)
W0133-1910519 rear (sold on amazon by autopartsway)

all of these pn#s show up on amazon with a partsfinder verification for an 80 series as well as on a few other sites. i am assuming it's a pn# from a wholesaler but thought i'd check.

also of interest, the old bilstein shock part number diverged with h0 and h1 suffixes. the h1 apparently delineates a new progressive damping system compared to the former linear system. has anyone compared these? that probably explains why there are 4 part numbers for the second mystery series above. same shocks...

That could be the vendors own P/N, instead of Bilsteins.

yes. what ws throwing me off was the fact they had two different models of shock for sale. i am pretty sure they are the same shocks with the h0/h1 difference.

Are these for stock replacements?
