275....I don't think you can stuff 285's without a lift.

Size?
275/60/17?
My Prado comes with 265/70/17. Is stock 265/65/17 for the 17" wheel?

In the US you can fit a 285/70/17 on the stock 5th gen 4runner Trail Edition which is based on the Prado 150 with minor rubbing on the front fender liner. You can move the liner forward about an inch and take care of that. A 285 will also fit in the spare tire location under the rear as well, even with the larger KDSS sway bars. I'm not saying you may not rub slightly on full stuff off-road but many people have done.

u never really want to use wheel spacers, although ur tires arent really that big anyways,, but when u add spacers u add more stress to your already weak stock axles (believe me, i snap em all the time) but anyways any normal 4inch lift (whether a combination of suspension and body or just suspension-the prefered, is suspension only and no larger than a 2 inch body) will clear 33'' tires, and a wrangler sport comes stock 31''s i believe(thats what i have) and i ran 33 12.50s with no lift stuffin em and scrubbin but it really wasnt even that bad then when u add a lift its noticeably different

suspension

The suspension and alignment is the issue when it comes to fixing big sized rims.
