For his tube bending expertise help on my last minute "Moab hoop" bumper. It's not meant to be a permanent bumper, just a quickie to allow touching rock this week in Moab.:D It's not my design, I stole it fair and square from Johnny Lange. https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=67005

Sweet kevin! Are you keeping your hitch for moab?? What time are you heading up tomarrow? We are meeting at carefree hwy at about 7:15am. Let me know if you want to caravan. We will be on CB channel 2.

Hey...no problem...good to see it turned out. Enjoy the trip and be sure to take a lot of pictures.

The tube is welded to the hitch, so it's staying on. The hitch is the strong part, that :pig: has already proven it can take a beating!:hillbilly:

We are meeting at the same place, if we are still there when you get there we will cruise with you.

The bumper gave it's life today on Golden Spike protecting the rear quarter panel. It gave a valant effort, taking a big hit!:D :hillbilly:

What a shame. That used to be such a pretty vehicle, too.

Cool! I was waiting to see this. I need one.

I know where you can get a slightly blemished, tested one for a good price!:D

Sadly I have to report that the carefully applied finish on the arms has been blemished, it will require extensive grinding, filling, wet sanding and spray paint to be new again!:crybaby:

How are the arms working? We need a report.
You weren't kidding when you said "One time use" for the wrap around... At least it did its job...

The arms are working great, I would like to write a long report but I have to run Kane Creek this morning!:grinpimp:

The bumper did it's job, with a careful driver it would be in good shape. I made a bonehead move on a big step and took it out. For the most part the rule has been, no bypasses and take the agressive line.

Who stole Kevin's account? Whoever you are, you better not hurt his pantymobile, or he'll be pissed!

May need to consider it; Oh! but wait! I used to have a welder. Where did I put it? Aw damn! It's at the other house! I can't make sh--!
It is getting hot, I may need to move north.

By the way, If you need some body work to polish those arms, I can do it! I will even wax your shocks for a price.
