You'll get a thousand different answers on this depending who you talk to.

My 2 cents... I drive 40 miles everyday so I have a set of 265 BFG ATs that I have used on the trails quite a bit also. They perform well on both. I wouldn't mind more grip on the trails but again unless I was in the soupiest mud I managed alright. Really depends on your daily and trail needs.

I'll probably go with the Duratracs next time though, always hear good things about them.

I vote for BFG ATs....I just drove about 1300 miles on a set that where a couple of years old with 25k miles on them and I was amazed how go they where.

It also really depends on your location. I will tell you that GY has there focus on Big Truck market for several years and has not made a quality passenger auto tire in awhile.

Nitto/Toyo also make a great tire. I put over 65k on a set in one year on a diesel 4Runner and still had 50% tread left...Nitto Terra Grappler but I will be buy more BFG A/Ts

ill take the Duras over ATs for my use. the duras preform in snow and soupy stuff that i drive in a lot, the ATs for me have crap grip although they are a much better road tires for noise and less crowning

I have always used BFG At's and had them on my 2000 100, but went out on a limb with my 2006 100 series and purchased the Duratracs. I like the GY better in snow hands down. I do have little more road noise with them especially at slow speeds. The ride is great but the BFG also had good ride.

I really like the aggressive look and pattern especially on the side walls of the GY Duratracs.

Hope that helps

What size did u put in your 2006

The new gy duratracs are 285/70/18. They are just over 33" tall and don't in or anything.

I'm trying to send some pics of my 62 with bfg and the hundred series with the duratracs.
