The tires ride nice. No more highway noise than any other all terrain I’ve owned, negligible difference over the stock tires I replaced. I have a slight shimmy at ~65 so I will probably go get these things road force balanced.

Being self-employed with two kids under three means it will be a while until I am able to give any off-road feedback.

Heat gun and mudflap removal took care of all of the rubbing with the exception of full lock reverse. I’ll tinker with that another day. If I was running a stock-ish offset this wouldn’t be an issue at all.

Take those things through some standing water and driving rain and let us know man. Really looking forward to the wet feedback on this tire.

56 lbs.

KO2 in same size load range C is 51 lbs, and the load range E is 58 lbs.

This is promising. KO2s were generally undersized compared to similar sized competitor tires. Sometime much less and the weight reflected that. I need to dig to deeper to see if how the spec dimensions compare.

Just finished 600 miles over the last three days. Road noise is negligible, they seem every bit as planted as my KO2s have always been, above highway speeds are no issue, C Rated so super cushy ride and whatever shimmy I may have had in the beginning has worked itself out.

I’ve only had one rainy day so far, But grip on my favorite on ramp seemed as good as ever.

So far I’m very happy with the tires and looking forward to a C Rated 18” variant someday.

Anyone familiar with this guy? He trustworthy reviewer? Pretty thorough & detailed it seems.

He is decent but at this point he is making guesses based on specs and appearance. Good observations but not real world.

I think that he listed the weight wrong between KO3 and KO2.

It is interesting that according to rumor, it took BFG about 3.5 years to develop KO3. It took Toyo one year to develop AT3. Hmmm, who was right all this time? :D

Me? LOL

Jokes aside, this tire do look good. If wet traction is good ill be getting these once my AT3s are done.
Im not buying anymore toyos after the games they played on me.

Tread pattern and spacing is pretty reminiscent of the current ATs on the market (Falken, Nitto, General Grabber, Toyo, etc). I’m tempted to grab the 285/70/17s on tire rack for m my GX but my Falkens are still over 14/32 tread depth. I imagine Costco is going to sell a lot of these KO3s 😂

Great video discussion on KO3s. With commentary on the relative strengths against the usual suspects.

About 5000 miles into ownership of the KO3s and very pleased with them thus far. Great comfort around town, highway trips of speeds that I won't incriminate myself by mentioning were rock solid, a few dirt roads and plenty of wet weather all indicate these tires are as good if not better than the old KO2s I can compare them with from my last 200.

What size are you running?

They still won’t make a 33” C load on an 18” rim huh ?

Will there be a DT version? I have gotten used to not replacing tires every 40k miles. MY DT's are 9/10 after 100k+ miles as checked by pep boys during alignment.
