I found some time after work this evening to install a new radiator and to mount my new tires

The KO3s replace a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers (“G1”) in LT285/60R18E. The TGs were on the LC when I bought it back in the spring and still have about 7/32” tread left. The were wearing surprisingly good, but one was 100+ LBS out and another was 70+ LBS out on RoadForce.

I haven’t seen too many examples of the new KO3, but I have seen plenty of the KO2. I have never had a set on a vehicle of my own, though. They ride about the same as the Nittos, maybe slightly smoother because of the new/deep tread. Another thing the KO3 is good at… is being heavy. It’s just a heavy tire. Probably 10 pounds over the Nitto TG. And there’s no getting around having almost 100 pounds of unsprung weight at each corner—it is noticeable.

285/65 maybe? Don’t see 285/60 on their website

Quick question, is your suspension stock?

I’m really enjoying them. They balanced well, ride smooth, and low noise (for an A/T).

They do great everywhere I’ve taken the truck. They also did well in the snow, which was pretty unexpected.

They are heavy bastards, though!
Appreciate the response! They sound great! Thanks
