What’s the deal with these non-dot tires. I realize they are $350 each, but what’s stopping me from using these on road? Are they dangerous? Will tire shops red flag them and not install? Just curious...

I just found a link for them. Non-DOT of course means not legal for road use. They sure are light,
10 lbs lighter than 33/12.5's.

Those tires are designed for light weight off road only buggies.....not heavy ass Land Cruisers. As stated above they are not dot approved or sold to the general public .
