100% sure you can just put on tundra tow mirrors. There is a guy on here that runs them on his red 200. If you really want clip on ones, you should be able to find them at any automotive website.

Funny that you just posted this. I'm researching these now, and this one gets great reviews on Amazon Dometic Aero3. Comments / recommendations from anyone who is using clip-on mirrors before I pull the trigger on the Aero3?

Wow! Those look like amazing replacements for the original mirrors. If I towed on a regular basis, I would absolutely buy these. For my limited towing needs, they're a little spendy. If I start to tow frequently, I'll probably get them.

Been towing a TT at least 5k miles a summer every summer for going on 7 summers with my ‘13 LX. I’ve had 2 sets of this style. These exact ones and another similar. Anyway I started with the cheep strap on type then went to this more expensive “nicer” mirror. Then went back to the cheep strap on type (picture). Why? I’m in some fairly severe conditions: high winds, rough paved roads, rough dirt/gravel/tundra roads. When the aero3 style fall off the glass breaks, Even if I was going 25 mph. And they are expensive to replace. And for me anyway they were nicer but functionally not much different. So now I just keep an extra pair of the cheepos in the camper and replace for $10 as needed. However now I am going to seriously consider the switch out installed mirrors mentioned above.

I just tow a 25 drive travel trailer 1-2x a month I have a 16 200 my dad has 17 tundra wish his Morris would swap as he has a nice clip on system

Does any make the clip on kind like for a tundra? Or anything ??

If you tow regularly?

These from Australia...now in USA.
Not cheap, but made as replacements and high quality stuff.

Main Australia site/source:

But they were actually cheaper shipped from Australia! Might still be?

I have a set, but until I tow more regularly...I’ve put my more compact, stock mirrors on.

USA site now:

geez thats cheap !! this will prob be perfect for the little I tow

Good suggestion on the cheap route, I think I'm going to give those CIPA mirrors a try.

Has anyone tried these off eBay? I want a more permanent solution than clip ons, but don’t want to spend $750 for the clearviews. Anyone have other ideas?

I wanted to follow up on this post for anyone still looking for tow mirrors or maybe 5 years from now. I bit the bullet on the eBay mirrors I posted above. By the time I ordered they had price dropped to $199 delivered which is what convinced me to roll the dice. The eBay listing says it will take 60 days to arrive and they aren’t kidding. I think they arrived for me on the 62nd day. When I opened the box they were very well packaged and did not have any damage or marks whatsoever. Installing them went pretty easily and I didn’t really run into any issues. The mounting holes and pins lined up almost perfectly and required very little massaging. I installed these on my 2013 LX570, which the seller said he could not guarantee it would fit since they are specifically for a LC. Well they fit fine and the plug for the power mirror connection clipped right in with no problem. The power mirror is the larger mirror on top and it operates smoothly so far on both units. The lower mirror is manually adjustable. On the passenger side mirror I was not able to angle the mirror quite as far toward me as I would like and I do have to lean back a little to get a full view. I bought some blind spot mirrors and put them in the outside top corner on both mirrors and am very happy with that. I do not have a long term review since I have only had the mirrors for about two months, however I do have a long distance review. I drove from Houston to New York and back last month with the mirrors fully extended and had absolutely no problems at all. So far I really love these mirrors and strongly encourage anyone that needs tow mirrors to buy this set. I used the clip on mirrors to the factory units on a drive to Arizona in March and they pissed me off so much that I was ready to shell out the $750 for clear views, but decided to try these first and am glad I did. I’m heading to California in a couple weeks with the camper and if anything goes wrong I’ll update here, but I feel very confident that they will perform perfectly. I am attaching a couple pictures for y’all to see. If anyone would like a picture from a different angle or of a specific part just message me and I would be happy to send whatever you need. Hope this helps.

Hadn't seen one installed on an LX. Good stuff.

Did you have to give up any functions with those mirrors? The LX, especially the later ones, has quite a bit of stuff built in including - power fold, heat, signal, camera, blind spot indicator, angle down on reverse, anything else I'm missing?

P.S. What's that wicked military trailer you have in the garage there?

I gave up everything except power movement. I don’t think my 13 has lane assist, blind spot etc. So all I lost was the heated feature and power fold. This one does have a turn signal indicator on the outside. Oh and it does not automatically angle down for reverse, but I don’t care about any of those things personally.

The trailer is a 25KW generator with a 10 ton HVAC unit attached. I don’t use the hvac, in fact it was drained of its Freon when auctioned and I doubt I will ever fill it. After some custom electrical work on the trailer and two manual transfer switches being installed on my house, that baby powers my whole home without breaking a sweat including the central a/c. It’s purpose was to power and cool a field hospital, so my single family home is nothing. I live in Houston and refuse to sweat my balls off if a hurricane knocks out power for an extended period. Hurricane Ike knocked out my parents power for 10 days but I was living near Austin at the time and wasn’t affected, but learned that I never want to be without. Hell, my deep freezer and garage fridge probably have a couple grand in meat not to mention anything else. Got a smokin deal on the generator and the rest is history.

How is the road vibration? I had a pair of Clearviews on my Tacoma and they vibrated quite a bit. It wasn't a deal breaker, but it was very annoying. . .

There’s a little vibration of the mirror “glass” that I can see, but not feel. Like you describe it’s not a big deal and I don’t even find it annoying at all really. The housings do not have any vibration for sure.

That is a TMSS (pronounced tims) trailer. They are used for more than just field hospitals. They are most commonly used in Battalion up to Division headquarters. They come with a tent system called a DRASH. It's a dual wall tent with an exoskeleton in the walls designed to be pulled apart (expanded) and then pushed up from the inside and then the external walls staked down. The generator is just for lights in the tent and the trailer AC unit. Other 60kw generators are used for any equipment beyond those two items. The AC on that trailer would easily cool your entire house and your neighbors. I've seen them freeze their own air output lines in the desert at 110*. It can maintain a cool 70* with outside temps over 100*. And that's just with a double-walled tent. But yeah, when the generator doesn't have to run the AC unit, powering your house would be no sweat.
