Hello cruiser maniacs!! I'm new to IH8mud.com but not to the cruiser world. Going on my 6 cruiser, so far. Can anyone of you distinguished cruiserheads be so kind and point me to the best vendor for OEM Toyota parts? I've been checking the usual sites but seems to be a big price difference between them. Do we have a preferred vendor? Many thanks!!!

Beno is a good resource but if you know your needed part numbers there is no lower cost than Camelback Toyota

I haven't purchased anything online yet so I am by no means disagreeing with you, but two of the parts I've recently shopped for were both cheaper on toyotaonlineparts.com. The rear bumper metal reinforcement piece (5230960010) is $218 opposed to $243 on camelback, and the gas tank skid plate/shield (7760660120) is $261 opposed to $290 on camel. Again, not disagreeing with you, just playing devil's advocate, especially because I will be buying several parts online in the near future and want to make sure I'm finding the right prices. Thanks for your knowledge!

In all fairness CBT would ship it free, toyotaonlineparts.com wanted $45.86 additional for shipping in my cart.

I do agree if you are a ninja on-line shopper with Part numbers I would check more than one place.

Good call, the shipping price is the deal breaker then.

While I have yet to purchase anything, I have found that Toyota Online Parts | toyotaonlineparts.com | Toyota Parts Online almost always has the cheapest prices, by a pretty significant margin. Maybe they charge absurd amounts for shipping though, I don't know.

I've ordered probably a couple grand of OEM parts from toyotapartsonline and never once have I come across a lower price online or local, through this site or otherwise. I've gotten to the point that I don't even price shop anymore.

I've compared some prices and even with their 'free' shipping CBT was always more expensive than Toyota Online Parts. I am sure your location has something to do with it and shipping from east coast to west coast may become cost prohibitive.

Just a quick example - 52309-60010

$218 + $19 S&h = $237
CBT = $243

Again its best for anyone looking the lowest price to check more than one place and I also would agree location location location:D

Agreed 100% and I did just prove myself wrong.

I need some belly pan bolts, and CBT with their free shipping was cheaper by like $7.

So end of day, it probably just depends and I am definitely going to cross shop between CBT and toyota online parts so thanks for renewing my interest in CBT!

I just made a +$1000 parts purchase from bochtoyotasouth.com, which was the cheapest I was able to find. S&H was a very reasonable $25. We are relatively close (within 250 miles radius) so that could explain why the shipping was so cheap. I placed the order last Friday so I'll keep you posted.

I'll throw in here that I asked the parts manager at a local dealer if he would give me a 25% discount on parts for my 100. He took pity on me and said no problem. He gets parts shipments every 2 days so I have whatever I need within 48 hours at a reasonable cost.

Also, STAY AWAY FROM GREENTREE TOYOTA @ DANBURY, CT. All the parts had at least a 25% markup over MSRP!!! When I spoke about it to the Parts Manager, he said (literally) " That's our price, take it or leave it". Well, I'm doing more than that... I'm sharing it!!
